Glass Wine Bottles
The biggest strength of glass packaging is its ability to keep wine safe, fresh and pure. Glass is made from abundant, all-natural materials and it is virtually chemically inert – meaning it doesn’t interact with its contents, and provides a barrier to outside contaminants. It is 100 percent recyclable and can be remade into new glass containers an infinite number of times. Glass is also the only packaging material “Generally Recognized as Safe” (GRAS) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
